I loved this house the moment I walked into it way back in 1996. Not only the feel of the house but the setting - a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking a tree filled green - and in particular the view over fields at the back (the view of Heathfield House from the kitchen makes me think of Jane Austen!) It has always made me feel like I live in a little bit of an oasis. Yet, with the arrival of the tram at the bottom of the road, my commute to London was only 50 minutes door to door. So this has been a practical and happy home but it is now too big for me. It is time for another family to enjoy it
